Our apartment occupies half of the ground floor of this fine old building, with its own front door leading directly off its own car park. Outside, as well as the car park, there is a secluded sitting area with sunshine most of the day, and a small deck which you could use for alfresco dining, when the weather is kind enough. |

The front door leads into your hallway, with coat hooks and boot trays, and a doorway into your inner hall. The well-equipped kitchen is straight ahead, with a good range of modern units, a gas stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, and washing machine. On the wall is the combi-boiler which produces the apartment’s hot water and central heating – yours to control, and at no extra charge. |
The comfortable lounge/dining room is next to the kitchen, with table and chairs for two, a delightful upholstered suite, and bay windows to the front looking out over the green. There is a nice period fireplace, a TV/VCR, and side-tables enough for an entirely peaceful evening in. If you don’t feel like going out, you certainly don’t have to! |
The bedroom is just down the hall, facing the garden, and away from any occasional noise at the front. One large comfy bed, adequate storage space, and extra pillows and bed covers should the need arise. We don’t provide an extra folding bed in any of the rooms, as it’s meant to be just for the two of you. |

Lastly, there is the well-equipped bathroom suite, with modern washbasin, full size bath, and separate shower basin, with the WC off to one side in its own little room. Experience is that our guests find it comfortable, convenient, cosy, and private – but still in the middle of the village and right next to whatever’s going on. |
